Administration Manager & Grounds Development Assistant
Drew was raised in a 80-acre farm in Upstate New York as the oldest of three children.
One of his fondest childhood memories was exploring the woodlands and caring for all the family farm animals. Passionate about coaching and working with others, Drew began his higher education at Genesee University graduating as a Business Administrator and Management.
He is always happy to show to the children all the hard work that entails caring for animals and the farm as chopping wood, repairing animals quarters, building and more. As such, Drew takes active roles in the life of the school organizing and developing the outdoor infrastructure, while sharing his husbandry, business, mechanical, administrative and great interpersonal skills with the Rosewood Community.

Silvana's teaching journey started more than 20 years ago in a sustainable and holistic early childhood program located along the slopes of Escazu Hill in the charming and picturesque town of San Miguel de Escazu, Costa Rica. There, Silvana had the wonderful opportunity to become involved with the local community outreach programs focus on vulnerable populations and wildlife. While working as a teacher and enjoying life greatly in the peaceful rural areas of Costa Rica, she volunteered as a part time teacher for school grade children of low income families. She also volunteered in a big array of community outreach projects for wildlife conservation while deepening her love for nature, community service, holistic education and sustainable simple living.
Silvana holds a Bachelor of Educational Sciences in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Master in Special Education and Learning Disabilities. Her education has continued with Waldorf Pedagogy, workshops and seminars throughout US and overseas which has contributed tremendously in her teaching career while deepening her love and commitment to Steiner Philosophy and Sustainable Education.
